Job Summary:

 

Job duties: Develop Off-Grid system using Solar, Wind, Generator, Battery bank and Utility power for Telecom, Off-shore and Industrial applications, and lowest LCOE PV commercial project design (500-2,000kW) On-Grid system, take into consideration components performance and compatibility, and cost etc.; conduct energy analysis using software PV Syst. Solar Pro and Meteonorm etc., preliminary layouts and system output projections, and develop preliminary design of the project; attend site qualification visits to collect information required to complete the design and permitting of commercial solar electric systems, and review site surveys completed by project managers; design solar power systems to meet the electrical and mechanical requirements for safe installation and prepare construction drawings for installation, electrical line drawings and plan drawings, and generate a bill of materials for each design using various software tools such as, AutoCAD, Inventor 3D, Solidworks, I-Level TJ Beam, Standard Structures Inc. etc.; create AutoCAD designs and plot and electrical designs of solar electric systems; generate solar power system, proposals using various software tools, for completed designs; understand situations that change system costs and productivity, and is able to optimize solar system designs. Site visits and co-ordinate at site construction and installation activity and able to conduct site Electrical testing and commissioning activity.

Requirements: Four (4) years experience in Solar and Wind Off-Grid and On-Grid Power Project System Design; energy analysis and audits, System designing with BIPV, Crystalline & Thin-film modules; Energy Generation Simulation and Shade Analysis using PVsyst. and Solar Pro software; system design drawings and layouts using AutoCAD 2012 and Autodesk Inventor 3D; Standalone off-grid & Hybrid system sizing and project execution; project installation, management and Electrical Testing.

Job Summary: Delta Power Electronics Lab (DPEL), located in Research Triangle Park, NC, has an opening for an R&D engineer in the area of power conversion circuits for lighting applications. The major duties at this position include, but are not limited to, the analysis, modeling, simulation, design and development of advanced power conversion and control circuits for lighting applications such as electronic ballasts and LED drivers.
Education
Requirements:
Prospective candidates must possess excellent knowledge of power electronics and proven hands-on design experience of high-frequency dc/dc, ac/dc, and dc/ac converter circuits. Strong analytical skills, familiarity with simulation tools (Spice, SIMPLIS, Matlab/Simulink, etc), and experience in implementing digital technology (software and hardware) in the control, protection, and monitoring of power converter circuits are required. The candidate needs to possess exceptional communication skills, both oral and written. This position requires at least the M.S. E.E. degree with the concentration in power electronics.

Job Summary:

Delta Products Corporation is currently expanding our sales staff and is seeking four Sales Engineers for our Industrial Automation Business. The positions will be based in Toronto (or Montreal), Houston, Chicago, and Portland. This position will promote, expand, maintain and support sales of products within Delta’s Industrial Automation Business.

 
Essential Responsibilities for this position will include (but not be limited to):
- Develop and implement of sales strategies/activities for assigned territory to meet or exceed annual sales goals and grow market share. - Visit machine builder OEMs to consult and recommend Industrial Automation products/integration solutions. - Establish and maintain relationship to support the distributor sales of Industrial Automation products, visit customers and develop solutions. - Follow-up on leads from tradeshows, contact prospective customers and visit customers to present Delta’s Industrial Automation products/solutions. - Manage and Support existing representative network. - Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual sales forecasts as required. - Develop and maintain a high level of technical expertise in industrial automation.- Offer solid technical support to customers and representatives. - Lead product and technical training sessions for distributors and OEMs and train representatives in the use and advantages of Delta’s products. - Work with factory application engineers to find solutions to customer application problems. May need to coordinate/contact during evenings to quickly resolve product problems. - Responsible for learning all Delta Industrial Automation products, including AC Drive, AC Servos, PLCs, HMIs and Process Controllers for conducting effective sales activities. - Basic PLC and HMI application programming.
Education
Requirements:

 - BSEE is a must or higher degrees in EE. - 5 years of experience in supporting sales of AC drives or Servo Drives. - Great technical competence. - Excellent technical training, speaking and writing skills. - Strong English communications skills (oral and written). - Able to frequently travel within the assigned territory. - Ability to learn new skills and assume new responsibilities. -Excellent skills in modeling complex machine applications and formulating solutions. - Work independently to investigate and solve complex engineering problems. - Mandarin is a plus
