Delta Named as a Best Taiwan Global Brand for 4th Consecutive Year with Increase in Brand Value
Taipei, Dec. 17, 2014 – Delta Electronics was named as one of the Best Taiwan Global Brands for the 4th consecutive year. Delta was the only large industrial brand and one of the companies with a significant increase in brand value in the survey organized by Interbrand and the Taiwan Industrial Development Bureau. Delta's brand value has increased by 24% to US$170 million this year and ranked 13th with a jump of 4 places in overall ranking. Ms. Shan-Shan Guo, Chief Brand Officer of Delta Electronics, attended the award ceremony on behalf of Delta.
"The phased development of the Delta brand is in line with Interbrand's insights on global brand trends. We began with building a brand identity to increase awareness and visibility, and then profiled the corporate mission and shared values through a communication program, followed by hardware and software integration to provide customer centric solutions to enhance the unique Delta brand experience. The launch of our "Smarter. Greener. Together." brand campaign in 2012, the continuous strengthening of our channel network and service platform, and the initiation of a training program within Delta Group created a unique brand experience based on Delta's brand promise, which all together won the praise of our customers and partners," remarked Ms. Shan-Shan Guo. Delta invests 5% to 6% of the group's annual sales revenues in technology research and development to build leading innovation capabilities that enable continuous growth of profits and provide differentiation from other brands. Delta fulfills its corporate mission, "To provide innovative, clean and energy-efficient solutions for a better tomorrow" by contributing to combating climate change. Delta was the only company from Greater China to be named to the Climate Performance Leadership Index (CPLI) of the 2014 Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP). Delta has built long-term relationships with its clients and established a leading position in Power Electronics, Energy Management, and Smart Green Life through unremitting investment in developing its brand. The recognition of being named to Best Taiwan Global Brands for the 4th consecutive year once again proves that Delta's brand strategy perfectly matches its corporate mission and business development.
