Foster Energy Conservation & Competitiveness throughout EMEA

Versailles, France, June 27, 2014 – Delta Electronics, Inc., a global leader in power and thermal management solutions, today announced its success in fostering energy conservation and cutting-edge competitiveness for its customers throughout the EMEA region via the implementation of a diverse portfolio of green solutions that commonly enable energy savings of 20% to 40%. Delta's industrial automation solutions, telecom network energy solutions and data center infrastructure solutions are delivering the strongest growth in the region. Delta has been expanding its channel partner network in EMEA for the last 25 years and currently supports many partners in their efforts to accelerate the implementation and adaptability of these green solutions to different markets and industries.

Delta's industrial automation solutions are applied at a wide range of factories, machinery and industrial processes. For example, CNC glass cutting and marble cutting machinery in Italy, mining installations in Mozambique and egg hatching platforms in Egypt have all been automated by Delta and significantly higher productivity has been achieved by our customers. Industrial cranes in the UK also benefit from lower energy consumption thanks to our automated power quality technology which enables energy regeneration during crane operations.

Delta's telecom network energy solutions are currently powering 3G and 4G LTE networks operated by tier-1 telecom carriers in the EMEA region such as Vodafone. These solutions integrate several products manufactured by Delta such as rectifiers that boast industry-leading efficiency of > 96% and telecom cabinets with hybrid cooling technology that lowers the need for traditional air conditioning. Through optimum power density and the benefits of hybrid cooling, telecom operators are able to lower operational expenses related to electricity consumption while also reducing their carbon footprint. In regions with limited grid infrastructure, Delta integrates hybrid renewable energy solutions for remote telecom base stations, thus, also reducing opex burdens and limiting the reliance on fossil fuels of our clients.

Mission critical applications such as data centers in South Africa, railway operations in Germany, bank facilities in Poland, healthcare centers in Russia and airline offices in Turkey all rely on Delta's uninterruptible power supply (UPS) technology for high-quality back-up power. In the rapidly growing data center infrastructure market, we have provided Russia's largest internet service provider with a comprehensive solution that includes UPS systems and batteries.
