Delta Products Corporation Named 2016 ENERGY STAR® Partner of the Year by EPA

Fremont, Calif., March 30, 2016 – The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) today recognizes Delta Products Corporation with a 2016 ENERGY STAR® Partner of the Year – Product Brand Owner Award. In 2016, only 149 winners were chosen from a vast network of 16,000 ENERGY STAR partners. Delta receives this honor in recognition of its Breez ventilation fans, which exemplifies the company’s commitment to energy efficiency and dedication to creating sustainable and environmentally-friendly products without sacrificing performance. In honor of its outstanding contributions and efforts to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by manufacturing energy-efficient products and educating consumers about energy efficiency, Delta will be recognized at the ENERGY STAR Awards Ceremony in Washington, D.C. on April 13, 2016.

“Delta’s ENERGY STAR certified products are helping Americans save money, save energy, and do their part to reduce our nation’s greenhouse gas emissions that contribute to climate change,” said EPA Administrator Gina McCarthy. “Delta’s efforts demonstrate a strong commitment to energy efficiency and to preserving a healthy planet for future generations.”

“The Delta Breez has become synonymous with innovation and sustainability,” said Rita Carbone-Lawson, National Sales Manager for Breez Ventilation Products. “We’re honored to be recognized for our efforts by our longtime partner, ENERGY STAR. It’s exciting to see the impact our Delta Breez fans have made on emissions reductions and we pledge to continue delivering products that will protect the environment and minimize our carbon footprint.”

Delta Products has been a proud ENERGY STAR partner since 2010, holding itself to the highest standards of environmental protection across all industries. The Delta Breez is the epitome of this commitment, with 36 of its 37 ventilating models carrying ENERGY STAR® certification. As evidence of Delta’s dedication to industry excellence, some of its models even exceed ENERGY STAR efficiency requirements by more than 350 percent.

Delta’s efforts to improve energy efficiency and promote sustainability go beyond product performance to encompass education. As part of this endeavor, the company has implemented training in ENERGY STAR practices for all employees, distributors and retailers, in addition to incorporating ENERGY STAR messaging within its website and product materials.

Since its inception in 1992, ENERGY STAR and its partners have helped prevent a total of more than 2.4 billion metric tons of greenhouse gas emissions. In 2014 alone, ENERGY STAR and its partners provided more than $11 billion in societal benefits due to reducing damages from climate change.

ENERGY STAR has 16,000 partners working to protect the environment through greater energy efficiency, including manufacturers, retailers, public schools, hospitals, real estate companies, and home builders. In 2016, EPA recognizes 149 partners as ENERGY STAR® Partner of the Year.
